Shipping

Shipping Information

We use various shipping methods to deliver the products to our buyers. This may include Australia Post, Courier or Road Transport (for bulky/heavy goods only).

Our normal preferred method is Australia Post registered parcel, but in some cases we also use Couriers Please / Fastway Couriers or in some cases a third Courier company to deliver our products. Road transport is the standard shipping method for Televisions, Prams/Strollers, Playpen's, Home Theatre Systems and anything which is either too big or too heavy to be sent via Australia Post.

Shipping costs are visible to the user before they checkout. Shipping charge  is added to their shopping cart depending on the type of product selected. We try our best to minimize the cost of shipping and have discount shipping agreements with our shipping partners.

 

International Shipping

We currently ship selected items in our Electronics, Babygoods, Toys and Homewares categories to buyers in NZ, USA, Canada & UK only. Due to postal costs being quite high, we do not ship TV's, Prams & Strollers or any item heavier then 3.5 Kg. Items are sent via Australia Post International Parcel Post or in some cases by Fedex / DHL / TNT Express.

 

Shipping Insurance

We generally do not insure our products in transit. Australia Post provides an automatic cover of up to $100 on regisrered parcels. We do not insure the articles we send via Courier or Road Transport unless specially requested by the customer (extra charges apply).

 

Proof of Delivery

Australia post registered items are only delivered when there is a receiver available to sign for the parcel. If no one is available, Australia Post cards the item and then the reciver has to go to the Australia Post office mentioned in the card and provide an ID to collect the item.

Couriers Please/ Fastway will also card the item and the receiver has to ring the phone number on the card and organize a time for re-delivery. They will only hold item for 3 days and will attempt delivery thrice after which the item is returned to us. In that case there will be a charge to re-send the item.

Road Transport is done via Smartsend - and can be through different transport companies like Toll / TNT or Allied Express. They will normally leave the box at the front door if no one is available to sign for it. If you do not wish this to happen, you must mention in customer notes "dont leave at front door" during checkout.
